Well, it was not my idea and I hope you had guessed it but when Manon said her doll needed a tail to go for a swim (a pretend one I hope), I rushed to sew her one (and a top of course) because in my mind, it could be a sign that she is done with mermaid Barbies ( I think we have S-E-V-E-N... embarrassing)! You can't really see it on the picture but the tail is a neon yellow!
Just so you know, the doll is a Native American today, I found feathers in her hair this morning;-)
Oh such a cute doll, you constantly amaze my senses with your blog!
I started my own and am now trying to figure out how to do the pitures, sigh.....

How cute is she? The doll and Manon! My daughter loved mermaids too- I sort of miss them now- but, she does stop to check them out still when we see them in a store. Your doll is very cute- I love her blush on her cheeks. You know, I can't pretend that I don't secretly have a thing for mermaids myself-they're pretty cool.
