Flag Banner
A very simple project today and a great way to use fabric scraps... make a triangle pattern, pile your fabric (iron it first), trace around the pattern, cut... sew in a row and you have a pretty banner. I used double folded bias tape and inserted the triangles before sewing. You can also sew on a regular ribbon. Lily is really happy with it and I think I will make one for Manon too.
It also seems to match her new hat boxes!
tes petits drapeaux donnent envie de sortir les couleurs ! So lovely !

oh it's fantastic! I'm trying to convince my husband to let me do one for No 3's new room in our new house... I've got so much fabric leftovers...
shall I do it anyway?

Very, very cute! There is nothing like decorating your little ones' rooms - then we spend the rest of the time trying to get them to keep it tidy! :) First time visitor to your blog - very cute - i love it! - Melly

Très joli ! Tu m'as devancé... Mes triangles sont coupés depuis longtemps, mais j'attends d'en avoir plus et surtout, plus de temps !

Very good result for a simple work. I do like to read English written blogs. My one is written both in English and French so you may enjoy it. I'll come back soon.
Good evening.

Merci pour tes explications; j'ai quand même du prendre le dictionnaire; j'ai en projet de faire ce type de guirlandes et là tu m'as vraiment donnée envie.
